Fujifilm X Half Digital Camera Black

The Fujifilm X Half Digital Camera in Black is unlike any other camera on sale in South Africa, and that is precisely the point. Fujifilm has taken the half-frame film camera, one of the most beloved and creative formats in analogue photography, and reimagined it as a compact digital body that captures the ritual, the imperfection, the patience, and the joy of film shooting without the cost of rolls and processing. The X Half is built around an 18-megapixel 1-inch sensor in a vertical 3:4 orientation, paired with a fixed FUJINON Aspherical 10.8mm f/2.8 lens equivalent to 32mm in full-frame terms, a natural, street-friendly field of view that sees the world the way you do when you hold a camera vertically.Film Camera Mode is the defining feature.

You choose a Film Simulation, load a roll of 36, 54, or 72 exposures, and shoot through it without reviewing your images as you go, exactly as you would with film. When the roll is finished you develop it digitally and see your results for the first time, all at once. Thirteen Film Simulation modes including Velvia, Classic Chrome, and Acros are supplemented by 26 film-inspired filters and creative effects including Grain, Light Leak, Halation, Expired Film, and Double Exposure. The 2-in-1 diptych mode automatically combines two sequential frames into a single image using the frame advance lever, turning the X Half into a storytelling tool as much as a camera.

Vertical 1080*1440 video at 24fps with built-in slow motion and a stereo microphone is optimised for social sharing, and compatibility with INSTAX printers bridges digital convenience and the tactile pleasure of printed photographs. A compact body with an optical viewfinder, rear touchscreen, and a pill-shaped sub LCD displaying your current Film Simulation completes the experience.Available at Foto Discount World in Pretoria.
